“As a physiatrist – a doctor of function – I care most about how my patients are able to interact with their family, community and environment. Lab results, imaging studies and special tests are fantastic examples of modern medicine, but they certainly don’t tell the entire picture as it applies to the patient in front of me. They serve as useful tools to utilize in order to effect the changes and improvements that a patient may be seeking.”

“I’m an amateur distance runner and love getting miles in, especially when my kids want to come along in the stroller! I value the time I get to spend with my wife and children, watching them grow and teaching them about the world. I spend most of my private downtime, like running or commuting, listening to books and various podcasts. My main interests are science fiction, fantasy and technology news.”
